Despite the current discourses, the core of modernity that was shaped in the 19th century and resulted in "the end of history", has remained unaffected. After the death of spirituality and its equations with politics, we encounter struggles for the balance of power between countries and even among local political parties. This is a struggle for ultimate power but none can achieve it. Thus there is no invincible and the most powerful where all routes end to it. One way to depict this scene is to imagine an infinite wall across our way. Going forward is prevented and going back to the ancient regime is also not the solution.

"while" is an ongoing video-art project. It is my reaction to the end of history by teasing the notion of progress and by deconstructing the reality and narration and adopting the identity and theories of modernism into a contemporary medium.
